Aim, fire and mind the weather
Klassik Artillery: Tank Wars is a turn-based tank game for two players. On your turn, drive into position, drag anywhere on the battlefield like a slingshot and let go to fire. The drag sets only the direction, because the launch speed comes from the ammo. Shells blast craters into the ground, so the battlefield changes as you play.
The weather changes during the match. Wind carries your shells, rain brings lightning and fog, and rainwater fills the craters. Crates hold repair kits and fuel, and an artillery barrage may fall from the sky. Hit on three turns in a row, and an airdrop lands behind your tank.
In a bot game you can choose an easy, normal or hard bot. It works without a network connection and has no ads. Online you can challenge a player who is available, send a friend a link or a code, or find a random opponent. Android, iPhone and iPad players play each other.
Klassik Artillery: Tank Wars is part of HD SofT’s Klassik family. The other games in the series are Klassik Solitaire, Klassik Mahjong, Klassik Sanahaku, Klassik Wood Blocks, Klassik Solitaire Advanced, Klassik Queens: Star Battle and Klassik Arrow Puzzle.
The game is coming soon to Google Play and the App Store for Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad. It is free, and an optional monthly subscription removes the ads.
What's in the game
Two game modes
Classic has 16 turns, 8 for each player, and the tank with more armour left wins. In Total destruction you play until one tank falls, with fresh fuel every turn.
Your own tank
Choose a light, standard or heavy hull and spend 80 tokens on equipment: burst, spread, big bomb, napalm, mines, a homing missile, shields, bridges, sandbags, extra armour and extra fuel. The machine gun is always included for free.
Weather and surprises
Wind carries your shells, and rain brings lightning and fog. Crates hold repair kits and fuel, and a streak of three hits brings an airdrop.
A bot, no network needed
Choose an easy, normal or hard bot. Bot games work without a network connection and have no ads.
Online play without an account
Online play uses a nickname, so no account or email is needed. Send three quick emotes during the match, and ask for a rematch at the end.
Five languages
The game is available in English, Finnish, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian Bokmål. It runs on phones and tablets in landscape, and sounds and vibration can be turned off.
Free game, optional monthly subscription
Free
The game is free, and bot games have no ads.
Ads only after online play
When you leave the results of an online match, an ad may be shown, at most once every four minutes and never during a match.
Ad-free monthly subscription
The optional monthly subscription costs €0.99 a month in Finland. It removes the ads, and the game is the same with or without it.
The price is shown in your own device’s store before you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
