Klassik Queens: Star Battle

Klassik Queens: Star Battle is a calm logic puzzle game. The grid is split into colour regions, and every row, every column and every colour region gets exactly one queen. Queens may not touch each other, not even diagonally. This kind of puzzle is also known as the Queens game or Star Battle.

Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and you can reach it by reasoning alone, without guessing. This has been checked for every puzzle in the game. There are 500 levels, and the grid grows from 5×5 to 11×11. The daily puzzle is the same for everyone each day.

The first time you open the game, it guides you through your first puzzle. Tap a cell once for a cross and twice for a queen, or drag your finger to cross out many cells at once. When you get stuck, the hint does not give away the answer. It explains the next step of reasoning instead.

Klassik Queens: Star Battle is the sixth game in HD SofT’s Klassik family. The other games in the series are Klassik Solitaire, Klassik Mahjong, Klassik Sanahaku, Klassik Wood Blocks and Klassik Solitaire Advanced.

The game is out now on Google Play for Android phones and tablets, and the iPhone and iPad version is coming soon. It is free and ad-supported, and an optional monthly subscription removes the ads.

The price is shown in your own device’s store before you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

How do you play the Queens game?
Place exactly one queen in every row, every column and every colour region. Queens may not touch each other, not even diagonally. Cross out the cells where a queen cannot go, and the places of the queens can be worked out by reasoning.

Do I need to guess?
No. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and you can reach it without guessing. If you get stuck, the hint explains the next step of reasoning.

Can I play earlier daily puzzles?
Today’s daily puzzle is free for everyone. The earlier days’ puzzles come with the ad-free monthly subscription.

How do I restore my subscription?
Use the same App Store or Google Play account the subscription was bought with, and choose Restore purchases in the game’s settings.

How do I cancel the subscription?
Choose Manage subscription in the game’s settings or open Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Removing the app from your device does not cancel the subscription.

Can I play without a network connection?
Yes, you can play offline. Ads and purchases need a network connection.

Does my progress survive changing devices?
Your solved levels, best times, daily streak and settings are stored on the device. The game has no account and no synchronisation between devices.
