Product description

Shanghai Rummy — contract rummy — as a real-time multiplayer game. The card game your family already knows, now online.

The game runs through eight rounds, each with its own contract: sets, runs, and finally the round that needs four of a kind. You can buy a card from the discard pile out of turn at the cost of a penalty card, lay a card off on someone else’s run, and whoever goes out first takes the round.

The game lives on the server, so the table is still there even if you close the browser mid-round. A table seats 2 to 6 players and bots fill the empty seats. There are no ads, no chips and no stakes — Sankki is a subscription-based family game, not gambling.

Play in your browser at sankki.app or on Android from Google Play. The iPhone version is in review at Apple.

Features

Your rules

Rounds, buying, wild cards and scoring are table settings. The Finnish eight-round Shanghai is the default, with Contract Rummy and Carioca ready to go.

Friends or bots

A table seats 2 to 6 players. Invite people with a link or from your friend list, and let bots fill the empty seats.

The game waits for you

The table and the round live on the server. Close the app mid-game and come back later — nothing has moved.

Talk while you play

Attach a group call link to the table so everyone talks and plays at the same time, just like around a real card table.

Stats that stick

Leaderboards, game history and rankings are kept. Who is best in your group is no longer a matter of opinion.

13 languages

Everyone at the same table plays in their own language — including right-to-left Arabic and Persian.

Pricing
